Often no for straightforward replacement patios or permeable driveways within permitted dimensions, but it depends on size, frontage rules, and whether you are in a conservation area or listed setting.
We flag planning risk during the first site visit and recommend the correct route before any work is booked.
How do you handle drainage on driveways and hardstanding?
Sustainable drainage (SuDS) and local rules matter, especially on front drives. We plan falls, discreet channel drains, or permeable systems where appropriate so water is managed responsibly.
Details are agreed in writing as part of your quote so there are no surprises mid-project.
What warranty or guarantee do you offer?
We stand behind our workmanship with a 10-year guarantee on work completed by our team, alongside manufacturer warranties on supplied materials where applicable.

How do payments and staged billing work?
Quoted projects are usually staged around agreed milestones — for example a deposit to schedule, interim payments at key stages, and a final balance on practical completion.
Card and bank payments are supported; anything taken online is processed securely through our customer portal where available.
How soon can you start after I accept a quote?
Lead times move with season and programme. Smaller works may slot in within a few weeks; larger landscapes are often scheduled further ahead once materials are secured.
We give a realistic start window at quote stage and keep you updated if weather or supply shifts the plan.
Will you need access through my house?
Where possible we work from side or rear access. If front-only access is the only option, we agree protection, dust control, and working hours up front.
Do you dispose of waste and skips?
Yes — waste from our works is removed responsibly. Skip or grab arrangements are part of the programme unless your quote states otherwise.
Can you work with my designer or architect?
We regularly follow third-party drawings and planting plans. Share files early so quantities, levels, and specification can be priced accurately.
